Not the way Burnett had been pitching towards the end of the season and couple that with too much inactivity time could equal throwing batting practice.

Time will tell and we'll know soon enough.

only thing we need to worry about is lee in a possible game 7.
we should pay somebody to streak in front of him to distract him from the game or something. get in his head.

that and our bats have od'd on sleeping pills.
I wouldn't say that. I'd say that the Rangers' outstanding pitching has put the Yankee bats too sleep.

smart money still bets on the yankees. its not over til its over.
Before the series began you could have bet $250 on the Yankees to win $100. Not sure that's the smartest bet.

Also, right now, Rangers have a 68% chance of winning the series. Not sure what Vegas thinks about that

tx is up 2-1 and ppl are ready to stick a fork in the team that not only won the world series last year but that has 27 world series wins; the most in baseball history.

smh.

one of your wins was from a rent-a-pitcher. need i remind you that the rangers had a meltdown in game 1? smart money still bets on the yankees.

Of course...the Rangers are throwing their worst starter. You're going to have to give me odds

What do the 20 championships between 1921 and 1964 have to do with this year?

The Yankees bullpen will be used-up tonight IMO.

The Yankees HAVE TO win the next three games or else they'll face the "buzzsaw" (Lee) in their home park.

I still say it's pretty much over for the Yankees is my realistic outlook.

Hope that I can come back into this thread and say that I was mistaken.

Burnett has been pitching the towards the end of the season, he hasn't pitched in quite a while so he'll be a rusty pitcher. But what do I know, we'll see tonight.
