They still have Britton, and also have Bundy & Jimenez in the bullpen. Toronto added Liriano to the staff, and even though he's been pretty good he can lose it easily.

Looks like I called this one on the money.

Reason number 86756568564768305940 why closers are extremely overrated: How does the best relief pitcher in baseball and a top 3 Cy Young finisher (if not winner) not even see the field?? It's mind boggling!! Save situation be damned you have to get to a point to get a lead first and because the game was tied your going to pitch Brian %$%^ing Duensing to Donaldson & EE because of the stupid save "Well, we can't use are closer because we don't have the lead." For as much grief I gave Matt Williams in his game 4 NLDS debacle this one is a thousand times worse.....mainly because the Nats bullpen wasn't very good and it was his first year managing. Buck has done a great job in Baltimore, but imo, he should be fired. That was idiotic managing.

At least he'll be fresh for opening day next year

Watching the Orioles walk off the field totally stunned out of their minds was so pleasing to watch.

BTW, stay classy, Blue Jays fans. Throwing objects onto the field must never happen.

He demonstrated why they are not overrated, as his team went home for the winter.

Games billed as great pitching match-ups often turn out to be 9-8 affairs, but this one is living up to the hype...so far.

The umps seem to be favoring the Mets in all the close calls, particularly on low pitches. ESPN has that pitch tracking box so you can see when the ump is missing the call.

Granderson just made the play of the day on Belt's blast to center in the top of the 6th.
