By the way these Yankee "fans" are dopes and I put the fans in quatations because real fans don't boo their own players especially after less than 1 home game! The guy's played in front of 10,000 fans in his career in Miami and is finishing his first game at home. Give the guy a month, week, hell even a game before you start booing him. The Yankees have less championships this decade than the Red Sox & Cubs, and have as many appearances in the World Series in the past 10 years as the Mets have had. If these dopey "fans" want to continue to boo their star off-season acquisitions after less than 1 home game, than good luck getting Harper, Machado, Donaldson, Keuchel, Kershaw in the offseason and getting back to a championship level.

In my years as what you would call a "fan," it seems standard for fans to boo players that earn the golden or platinum sombrero. Maybe not for other teams, but it is a bit of a dubious feat. I wouldn't think anything of it.
I remember his first month coming over for Jeter they were ready to buy him a bus ticket out of town he was that bad. Nowadays?? Don't be surprised if the Bronx & NYC metro area see's a spike in babies named "Didi" in the next couple of months.

That’s a good observation about Didi. Let’s hope that the same is true of Stanton. If he starts hitting like Didi, the Yanks will truly be fearsome.
(And who was that other guy before Didi? I forgot his name )
