The Cubs will win the World Series in 2015, just as was shown in Back to the Future II.
Well, in that case, then Jim Hendry had better get busy, signing every zillion-dollar player on the planet to 10-year deals, plus bringing back Ernie Banks and Ryne Sandberg. New ownership will have to build a new Wrigley Field (Why not? The Yankees built a new playpen for themselves.). And some voodoo specialist is somehow going to have to bite the bullet and wave his magic wand on the north side of Chicago whether he wants to or not.
No, my friend. 2015? It will have been 107 consecutive seasons of you-know-what. My Astros might actually accomplish a world championship before then.
You can never say never, even with the Cubs. The Red Sox ended one curse a few years ago with a championship. I'm not necessarily saying the Cubs will win it all this season, but if Boston can overcome curses, then anything can happen.
Some have posited that the number of day games the Cubs play has a disparate impact on their stamina down the stretch. The Cubs are trying to get the number of home night games expanded from 30 to 50. So far that idea has gone over like a lead balloon with the city and neighborhood residents.

They should just leave it like it is, Drover. If it worked before and was a good thing, then the old adage is "Why mess with it"? After reading what you've previously said about Wrigley's area and crowds at night, changing to 50 night games just would not be very practical. Regarding player stamina, I didn't think that starting a game a few hours earlier more often would make that much of a difference.

It's not the start time itself that matters, it's the fact that they play in higher heat more often that matters. Or so they say.
Your schtick was old when you started it months ago, and it's no less old today. Grow up. The adults are trying to have a conversation here.
Hey say what you want, that was funny.
