Go back into Arizona's colorful history, build a stadium in Tombstone and rename the team the "Arizona OK Corral." Then bring back the original name of the Houston franchise--which was Colt .45s. That way, whenever they come in for a series, you can have the Colt .45s at the OK Corral.

Hey, it makes more sense than Geckos.
Houston can keep the Astros. Maybe Arizona could have had Colt .45s, but I don't know if that would have sat well with my fellow Texans. And snakes are part of being in the desert. I don't think there's anything wrong with a snake mascot. You'd think it'd be the type to strike fear. But it could have been worse.
I heard that 'Az Bank Scandals' was in the running.
Now, see, that's interesting! Cool green uniforms with dollar sign logos...and just think of some of the promotional events they could have had. To say nothing of such wonderful headlines as, "Bank Scandals Swindle Dodgers in 10th."

I like it... the "Keating Swindlers'.
But seriously, if the team changed their name to the AZ Geckos, they could have a 'Gecko' day, where they gave out stuffed Geckos, and they could have a Gecko mascot, and there would always be fans who would come dressed as Geckos, adding to the fun atmosphere. I really don't see any downside.
