So should americans boycott based ball if they disagree with its actions? Boycotts never work and this would only hurt baseball. Then the question would be should baseball be hiring americans insated of thsoe for other countries to give the jobs to americans?Is unamerican to hire those from outside the coutnry for these high paying positions?

Absurd notion. For one, the hispanic players you mention are probably 90% from the Dominican Republic, and so they most likely couldn't give a rat's ass about Mexicans, which is the ethnicity that AZ's new law is targeting. And I'm not sure there's even ONE Mexican in MLB! LOL.
Besides, it's a good law. It's only problem is that it doesn't go far enough. Illegal Aliens is a euphanism for "criminals." Why would a professional athlete be against an attempt to reign in criminal activity? Rather, they should embrace all laws created by the country which has enabled them to leave their squalid backgrounds and become millionaires for playing a game.
There are 11 MLB players who have played so far in 2010 who were born in Mexico. Another 10 played in 2009 but have yet to appear in a game this season, but are probably on minor league rosters and could still be called up, so during the course of this season, expect about 20 Mexican-born player travel with MLB clubs. There are special visas for non-citizen players, and MLB clubs are very diligent about their paperwork.
In addition to the Arizona Diamondbacks, there are about a dozen MLB teams who do their spring training in Arizona. The authorities in Arizona can't tell by appearance who is a Mexican, and they go strictly by Hispanic appearance, so even Dominicans are unsafe.
I can picture a game with the Diamondbacks ahead by a run in the ninth inning and Albert Pujols is up with the bases loaded, so Sheriff Joe runs out of the stands waving his six-shooter and arrests Pujols and puts him in jail on "reasonable suspicion" until the Cardinals' traveling secretary comes downtown with Albert's papers. I mean, if you're going to wildly and irrationally profile, what the hell, make it count.

Sure. Everybody should boycott Arizona right now. It's only logical. But not because they might not have the proper papers, they should boycott just to object to the new law. I read that an entire team of american lawyers who were going to have a conference in Arizona this September have canceled , due to their objection to the new law.
No m ore so than than baseball boycotting Baltimore, home of the NAACP which has turned into a racist organization.
