Before I can give you the division breakdowns (and I will eventually ), I can give you two teams to watch this year, one in each league. In the American League, it will be Seattle. When Cliff Lee comes back from foot surgery, he will be one of the top starters in the AL. This team is poised to win what should be a potent AL West.
The team to watch in the National League is Atlanta. Yes, the Braves are back. And it won't be a surprise considering they were right there at the end of last year while challenging for the Wild Card. They'll have strong pitching and a tough offense (if it meets expectations) to seriously challenge Philadelphia for all the marbles.

There you are for teams to watch. More later.
Oh, case, quit teasing us. Just give us the rundown.
Since Spring Training has started, I will also do a little predicted standings in the MLB (I only predicted teams making the playoffs). For now I am in the thinking process.
That would mean one more trophy for the Reds Hall of Fame Museum. Which just gives me a reason to mention the Reds Hall of Fame Museum, since I was able to spend some time there when I visited some ballparks a few years ago, one of them being Great American. Really cool place. Every team in the majors should have something similar. And some teams do, but then no other team has the history the Reds have. I'd like to see them turn it around and win again. A team with that kind of tradition should never be in the cellar. OK, back to the original topic...
AL East
New York (95-67)
Boston (93-69)
Tampa Bay (87-75)
Baltimore (72-90)
Toronto (66-96)
That looks pretty good. I would maybe give Tampa a few extra wins. I could also see Toronto easily losing 100-102 games this year.
Quote:
AL Central
Minnesota (86-76)
Detroit (82-80)
Chicago (78-84)
Kansas City (71-91)
Cleveland (70-92)
I would say this looks about right too. I'm not sure the Royals will get to 71. MAYBE the Royals and Indians finish in the reverse order, but the Indians are going to have another ugly season.

AL West
Los Angeles (98-64)
Seattle (90-72)
Texas (86-76)
Oakland (70-92)
Interesting division. Texas is a work in progress heading in the right direction. Seattle could pull it off, but you can never count the Angels out.

NL East
Philadelphia (97-65)
Atlanta (90-72)
Florida (89-73)
New York (75-87)
Washington (68-94)
I think this is right on target. I could see the Phillies getting to 100 wins. The Marlins might not have what it takes to get to 89. Personally, I would shave eight of those wins off of the Marlins and split them somehow among the Mets and Nationals. Nats will get out of the cellar eventually, but probably not this year.

NL Central
St. Louis (88-74)
Cincinnati (85-77)
Milwaukee (81-81)
Chicago (77-85)
Houston (73-89)
Pittsburgh (66-96)
Milwaukee is my sleeper team this year. Cincinnati might be a little too high, but it would be nice to see them start to put something together again.

NL West
Los Angeles (97-65)
Colorado (87-75)
San Francisco (82-80)
Arizona (80-82)
San Diego (69-93)
I think the Giants will do better than this, and it could be a tough year for the Dodgers. Overall you did an excellent job here. I'm not picking your standings apart by any means. I just really like to talk these things out. It's gonna be an interesting season.
National League
East: Philly
West: San Francisco
Central: St. Louis
WC: The Bravos
That DH League
East: Yankees
West: Texas
Central: Detroit
WC: Boston
World Series: ATL vs Boston
I had some trouble with the NL Wild Card but I think Atlanta's better than all of the Western Teams anyway so... I do think that the team from Atlanta, GA (why did I word it like that?) have the best starting rotation in the NL (Lowe, Jurrjens, Hudson, Hanson, and Kawakami).
