I've got a buddy who bought tickets to a "nonexistent" playoff game several years ago, and he did get his money back - about 2 and a half months later.
Reminded him of the IRS.
Did they pay cash? I seem to remember a hold just being put on my credit card (much like when you rent a car or something) then when the game didn't happen, the charge just didn't go through...
Either way, I am almost certain the person would get a full refund if the game never happens.
I am going to watch this World Series. Why!?!! Cuz i am sick of watching the same damn teams play. Screw the Yanks and Phillies. We got two under appreciated teams performing and it's old time baseball. I can't wait

Wait, aren't you a Braves fan? You don't think the rest of us were tired of watching the Braves in the playoffs year after year?
Dont get too ahead of yourselves, The Phillies won game one of the World Series last year and lost the series.
You picked the Giants to get swept by the Rangers. Probably more out of sour grapes than logic.
Yeah, it's only one game, but coming back and knocking out Cliff Lee in the 5th after falling behind early is an achievement all by itself. Maybe it's time for you to admit there's more to this Giants team than you think.
