Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 29 (2018-05-02 - 12:15) - Chicago White Sox at Saint Louis Cardinals

The White Sox lost again. Time for another brain aneurysm.

Congratulations to Carlos Martinez on winning the game with an excellent performance on the mound and for producing his first career Major League Baseball home run!

The Cardinals will be idle Thursday second in the National League Central Division one-half game behind the Milwaukee Brewers. They will host the Chicago Cubs to a three-game series starting Friday, 4 May.

Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 30 (2018-05-04 - 19:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals will need to step up their play in games against division rivals. Four teams within two games are competing for the National League Central Division lead. (The Pittsburgh Pirates are fourth in the National League Central Division and are two games behind the Milwaukee Brewers.) A win will help the Cardinals stay in second. A win and a Milwaukee Brewers loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates will help the Cardinals advance to first.

The Cardinals' bats have been missing in action since the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bats need to hit balls for base hits and runs batted in to win games.

Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 30 (2018-05-04 - 19:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals lead the National League Central Division by 0.5 game over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Miles Mikolas continues to shine for the Cardinals on the mound.

Bud Norris continues to jeopardize wins by allowing runs in the last inning of the game. If he cannot resolve his issues, the Cardinals will need to move on to another closing pitcher.

The Cardinals continue to have issues with members not hitting balls with bats for base hits and runs. Matt Carpenter should step up.

Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 31 (2018-05-05 - 13:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals have an opportunity to increase their lead in the National League Central Division. They will need to defeat the Cubs and have the Milwaukee Brewers lose to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Warning: Luke Weaver will start for the Cardinals. He has issues performing lewd and lascivious acts on the mound. Discretion is advised.

The Cardinals' bats need to show up for base hits and runs batted in to win this game.

Luke Weaver continues to screw around on the mound. His career with the Saint Louis Cardinals is on a quick decline. Weaver will find himself being traded this season.

Bats continue to show up late in game instead of being consistent. John Mabry's bad coaching in hitting remains visible.
