I can't view the youtube link, but this reminded me of an interview I just heard on the radio with Chicago Bears player, DJ Moore... He went on record, and sounded dead serious, that he could beat D Rose in a game of 1/1. He contended that 1/1 is different than the team game and he would be uniquely suited for such a challenge.
Sometimes I think people just don't realize how talented NBA players are. It's easy to drain some 3s or school some clowns in a pick up game, but NBA talent is really, really, beyond that.
this doesnt make me any more of a fan of john wall. was never much of one before, no more now. maybe even a little less of a fan considering he was pretty mad the KID was talkin smack and not "in awe" of him. or thats what i saw.

Pro sports stars often have huge egos and enormous competitive drives. It's what makes them great but can also be an achilles.
Kobe would have pounded this kid. I don't think he really draws a distinction between NBA All-Stars and 8th Graders. Competition is competition and he's going to try to score 100 points in any game.
I love my boy Wall, but this was not a good look. Not only did it seem he struggled with him, but he proved absolutely nothing with this. I think this year is a make or break year for him. In the DC area, we are starting to question if he is really the franchise PG that he was billed to be. My guess right now is no, and that's mainly because he's a pass-first PG, but even with that said, he has to learn to not rely on his athletic ability. Once he learns how to change pace and to be more efficient, he is going to be nice. Hopefully this is the year that happens.

I'm not sure if he was going all out on him. I agree with Bajanyankee above, Kobe wouldn't have gone 'soft' at all and killed this guy.
As for Wall's long-term outlook, the jury is very much out on him but in fairness as a young point-guard, the Wizards of the last few years wasn't exactly a good place for him to develop properly. I haven't paid much attention to their offseason, but I understand they've added a few pieces so this may be a better year for Washington( and Wall) all-around.
was he playing in skinny jeans or fitted jogging pants lol
