1. Hopefully the kids are ok and taken care of. If he did abduct and not return his kids, he should be put in jail.

2. Iverson, after not playing pro ball for almost 3 years is still better than everyone on the Sixers, except maybe Jrue Holliday. The Sixers management over the last 5 years should be in jail with him.

Very sad. I remember a few months ago, someone posted that article up here about him. He really needs help. It seems like basketball was the only thing that kept him functional, but really he has a lot of issues that he has never dealt with.

Agreed. He's gone full lohan in recent years and I hope he gets straightened up for himself and his family.

If the allegations are true maybe some court ordered help could be a blessing.

Otherwise, I doubt he'll make it another 5 years.

I wonder where's his mother during all this chaos. She was instrumental in spending the $$$. Such a shame.

What a bizarre story this has become.

Allen Iverson did not abduct his kids and hole up in Cobb hotel | The Hater | www.ajc.com
Quote:
Former NBA superstar Allen Iverson has returned his kids to their mother ... and insists he was NEVER holding them hostage in the first place ... at least that's what A.I. claimed in court last week.

We broke the story ... Iverson's ex-wife filed court docs insisting Allen had all 5 of their kids holed up at an Atlanta hotel and refused to hand them over to their mother on the designated swap date.

But TMZ has learned ... Allen appeared in Fulton County court in Georgia last Wednesday and told the judge his ex-wife had full access to their kids during their stay at the hotel ... and therefore he wasn't doing anything wrong. We're told Tawanna also testified that she could have picked up the children from Allen but didn't want to drive 45 minutes to his location.
