The only good thing about that era was when we eventually unloaded Eddy Curry onto the dumbest team in pro-sports.

Agreed.

However, I would give a "hall pass" to any Knicks fan that decides to abandon ship for Brooklyn.

When your owners are the Dolans *shudder* it's every fan for themselves!

Sweet!

My sons friend was over the other day and spotted my bulls cap on the peg by the coat rack and was really impressed that it was a "snap back" the type with the little plastic holes that adjusted size.

He told me they were "retro" and expensive\trendy....I told him the hat was about 5 years older than him.

I'm beginning to question some Bulls fans. Not that I see them jumping ship, but pretty much throwing everyone under the bus, from Thibs, Rose, Dunleavy, Butler, Gar/Pax, etc/anyone else on the team. Reading sam smith's column and reading other various online Bulls comments....sickens me. It's only 4 goddamn games in.

And it took MJ 7 seasons to get to the finals....
Come. On.

Agreed. It's nothing short of ignorance IMO....and I've always thought smith was a hack.

Noah essentially missed the pre-season, Rose is still rusty and the whole team is going to take at least 10-20 games and more likely 1/2 a season to find it's balance with that much disruption.

Bulls won against the Jazz. Deng had a monster game.

Chicago fans in general are pretty loyal, I mean, the Cubs still have fans.

I'm sure Rose will return to form but in a different sense. After Jordan came back after the first retirement, he was a different player. He drove less and ended up shooting more and playing with his back to the basket. Definitely expended less energy that way as he aged.

I would've hoped that with Rose having been out such a long period, he would've refined and improved his game.

I sure miss the days when Johnny Red Kerr, Wayne Larrivee, Norm Van Lier and Tom Boerwinkle were the voices of the Bulls. The passion and love Red Kerr had for the Bulls was nothing short of incredible.

Yeah Kerr/Larivee are great.
Neil Funk is definitely a Bulls voice though. He just transitioned from radio to TV. Not sure how long he's been doing it, (famous for people making the video of MJs shot with his call of it), but I listened to Funk on ESPN 1000 since the Elton Brand days. I remember Bill Wennington, Steve Kashul... And I forgot who else
