I am making the trek to Mexico City this week to watch my Spurs take on the Minnesota TWolves at Mexico City Arena. I fly down this Sunday. It looks like the NBA has one other international regular season game on the docket which is Brooklyn Nets VS Atlanta Hawks in London at the O2 Arena in January.
Any NBA fans on this forum making it to either of these international games? What do you think of the NBA's presense on a world-wide platform?

We made it inside the arena and although it is a really great state of the art facility, the way the situation was handled as far as notification to the fans inside and out of the arena regarding the status of the game was a complete mess. Another strike on Mexico's already tarnished reputation.
That really sucks. Things happen though. Not good for the future games in Mexico City though. I will say I had no idea there was a game in Mexico City. When I saw the game was postponed I thought there must had been some terrible blizzard in Minnesota.
I think this is a good idea. They should try Mexico City again, and maybe even Guadalajara, Bogota, and Rio de Janiero.
NBA games in Bogota? Because Colombia has a huge basketball culture right NOT.
NBA Games in Rio de Janeiro?
Flying from Miami (closest US city with a NBA team to Brazil) to Rio is almost 9 hours.
That would only be fair if all 30 NBA teams fly down there to play a game.
They already did the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico?

Rick Adelman was not happy (according to reports) that his team had to give up the home game. Looks like they will get their home game back later this year in Minneapolis.
