In one shot during the Spurs-Heat game last night, the cameras showed literally thousands of people leaving the basketball arena even though there was like ten minutes left on the clock... Don't they want to stay and finish watching the game ???

Funny to me. Heat fans show up late, leave early in the nba playoffs, the spurs on the other hand have sold out the home arena to show the game and have fun while the spurs are on the road.

True fans.

All this thread amounts to is a chance for people who hate to pile on.

You mean to tell me that most arenas would not empty out early if the home team was getting throttled like that?

Actually to me it's more an indictment of the types of people that can AFFORD those tickets....and in many cases are just posers and not real fans.

To recap, making fun of the posers is NOT making fun of Heat fans. If anything, I think a lot of the die-hard Heat fans would be just as disgusted by it.

P.S. The whole people trying to get back into the building thing is going to get you made fun of for a looong time. There's no getting around that.

No, some fans actually love the game, appreciate their home team, and respect the winning opponent so much that they'll stay until the end. But most Heat fans are just classless, bandwagon, flash-in-the-pan, Snip. dirt-bag, crybabies, that they only care about their own feelings and gratification.

This year, Heat fans are truly getting what they deserve.

Honestly. Can anyone let me know when a home crowd has booed their own team in the Finals? I saw someone else asked this before but never saw an answer.

Sure............some fans. Do you have any examples of a team losing at home by 20+ in front of a full 4th quarter arena?
