Now, I doubt they will be underdogs in very many games, but as long as everyone is talking about the W's the Cavs, the Rockets, and the Thunder, and rank the Spurs as 5th or so then that would suit Pop and the gang just fine. But remember Dubs fans, if they are the favs then they are taking everyone's best shot every single night. Night after night, game after game. Intense media heat will surround any kind of losing streak. Any discord in the locker room will get top of the hour SC billing.

That is a lot of pressure and it WILL exact a toll on the champs. It's something they've never experienced before. The Lebrons have, and so have the Spurs. So, everyone should go ahead and declare the W's as favs again, I don't think they know what the're in for but the team that's always under the radar does and they will be ready for their chance to emerge as always.
GS won this year, everybody needs to get over it.

Especially any Spurs fans that are complaining because (and I'm one too) that's a franchise that has tended to do less whining and show more class than some of the other franchises around the league that I'm not going to mention.

With LMA the Spurs are loaded, but their season will of course depend on health...specifically Tony Parker who will be 34 by the playoffs with 15 NBA seasons on his legs (and international play this summer which he probably should've skipped). Duncan and to a lesser extent Ginobili are also question marks at their ages. Unlike the Cavs playing in the east, the Spurs can't afford to lose a star or two and still be favorites to reach the finals.
