Four #1 seeds in the Final Four?

That has to be unusual.

Clark Kellog of CBS Sports predicted ,when the brackets were announced , that all four #1 seeds would make the Final Four.

I didn't believe him when I filled out my board.

Gee, Toto, our box-and-one held Curry to 25 points!

Great run with a sour ending...terrible play call at the end of the game. Why is Curry dribbling the ball rather than doing what he does best and coming off a screen? Didn't comprehend that one at all.

Davidson provided much needed excitement in the tournament....a lot of these games have been ho-hum. Curry did great and the team deserves kudos for a great run. I hated to see it end with that horrible shot but they did give Kansas a BIG scare! I don't think Curry will leave. If they accomplished that much this year, why not come back and go further next year??

Because a second defender always doubled up on Curry when he popped off the screen. In addition to the "one" shadowing him, the Kansas zone shadowed him everywhere he went.

I had no problem with him bringing up the ball. In fact, I thought he would bring it up and pull up from 35 (he's shot from 35 ft. plenty of times). But Kansas defenders stayed up on him.

Regardless, Curry didn't get his 25 points and 30+ in previous games by playing point guard. That strategy only made it easier for Kansas to defend. Maybe a greater sense of urgency where Curry passes the ball sooner and then rolls off a high screen, I could see. Believe me, I hate Monday Morning QBing as much as anyone, but seeing Curry SLOWLY dribble the ball to the front court in the waning seconds left a bad feeling in my stomach. It was an awful play call and the head coach needs to be setting the plays during the timeouts for good reason, I don't care how great of an indivdual player has been during the course of a tournament.
