And Embiid is still getting his cushy stats while playing with Butler, so its more an issue of Embiid being jealous of Butler's game-winning-shots and Simmons-Butler bonding.
Embiid's already signed a 5 year extension.

So Embid isn’t a top five player after all?

But he's not a winner, and he doesn't fit with Simmons and Butler.
If Butler signs long-term, gotta trade Embiid.

Butler returned today and Philly regained its flow 128-105 at Cleveland, led by Simmons 22 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds, 0 turnovers.
Last year without Embiid, Philly were brilliant winning 9 in a row and an average winning margin of 16ppg.
10 in a row if you count his injury game, he only played 9 minutes.

Then even easier to trade him for something big.

If Philly is dumped out of the 2019 playoffs quickly or badly, then we can have this discussion.

I'd also tap the brakes thinking Embiid is the biggest problem of the 3. Butler has tantrummed his way out of his last 2 teams and Simmons still has some fundamental problems at the point that he hasn't sorted out yet.

If I were a Philly fan, I'd let it roll, enjoy the ride and not expect to make the finals this year. Getting impatient to get there before the ingredients are ready could blow a good thing up prematurely.

you are not finding it because its not a real thing

Philly needs depth and they're not going to get there by trading Embiid to gain that depth. You need Simmons, Embiid, and Butler through the playoffs. Then you decide what you want to do after the fact. For now, you let the team gel and see where they are at the All-Star break. No need to panic and trade the guy who started "The Process".

But Simmons and Butler are at their best playing up-tempo, so the less we see of Embiid the better.
That's not panic, its just logic.
Embiid is primarily a halfcourt iso scorer, not a good fit.
And Embiid isn't suited to the playoffs, because he's soft, and playoff defense is too brutal for him and forces him into jumpers.
He also seems to have a weak lower-body, and we saw him fall over in the paint vs Boston, tending to lose balance.

Why on earth would the Sixers trade a superstar player like Embiid?? They would trade Ben Simmons before they would ever trade Embiid. You must be a Knicks or Celtcs fan that's jealous about how great the Sixers are right now.

Dude, you clearly have a weird beef with Embiid. Almost all of the above is BS or yet to be proven. After awhile Michael Jordan was primarily a halfcourt player, even today, you are not going to win a championship with endless fast breaks. And now he's soft? Every team in the league would take him if they could get him.

You make even less sense in the Politics forum.
