What went wrong game 1? Why was not Bowen guarding AI more?

AI killed the spurs, Melo was not too bad, horrendous defense and shooting!
Only 2 players plaid well, Finley and Horry.

Not only that, they lost game 2 in '99. I'm not getting too worked up over this one, considering our big 3 basically didnt show up and we still had a chance to win with under a minute left.

yeah...i just hate having to worry about it until wednesday
tim need to get his head in the game and not get down on himself for missing a few shots and tony needs to get out of his usual playoff time mediocrity

They mention on OAI' this morning that Pop said if they played anyone else for the last game of the season, Tim Parker and Manu would have played to keep them sharp but he didn't want to give anything away. Remember, they haven't really played since the Dallas game. I think they were 7 for some ungodly number. Tim missed point blank shots to start off. They still almost took it though.

93-87 was the score. And yes, the Spurs spotted the Nugs a 1 game lead.
