It starts November 8, I think. Duke, Michigan State, and Kansas State are the preseason top three:

Nobody's interested?

I'll start: Texas Tech has its most talented, deepest team in years. Led by seniors John Roberson and Mike Singletary, it has the best chance of reaching the Tournament since Bob Knight was coach. Pat Knight has said that his job may be on the line if they don't make it.

Some tickets for the Kansas game in Lubbock are already on sale for over $100. For a football school/state, that's a hefty chunk of change.

along with this guy:

.... tear it up this season. These are exactly the kind of players that 5 years ago would have bypassed us for Duke or UNC. Now we get our turn at watching highly ranked prospects play in the red and white.

A few teams have played, but I guess most start this weekend.

The "experts" aren't expecting much from Tech, but with seven seniors, the team better do something they haven't the last few years...

Purdue over Howard. Ho hum. I will wait for the big dogs to come calling before I get too excited about the season.

I hope UNC does a lot better this year. Really sad how bad they did last year.
