That's pretty cool. I travel a lot of biz and stay almost exclusively at Hilton properties, chiefly because their HHonors app lets me completely bypass checkin and just open my door. I don't have to interact with a soul, which is pretty great if I've spent half the day on airplanes.

Does anyone know what’s planned for the gravel parking lot across from Little Donkey in Homewood? Just noticed a “retail development coming soon” sign on it.

^ yeah, this is actually where rowe's service station and the thirsty donkey both were previously. so yes, a new restaurant, but presumably not much work had to be done other than rebranding and creating a new menu.

i assume the Avondale Works project is dead? it was announced way back in 2016, but as recently as march or april of this year, there was a construction fence around the site. when i drove by today, it looked like the fence is gone and the site is extremely overgrown, so no work had taken place after demolition of the existing buildings.
