Did you even read the responses? The ads are OPTIONAL and also come with discounts and special offers exclusive to owners, they are not just ads. My Kindle has no ads. My SIL's Nook has no ads. So no, it's not another reason to stick to "actual" books. Especially when ebooks are actual books as well - the opposite of actual is fake and the content in my ebooks is exactly the same as in a paper book. Digital files are not fake.
And btw, some older paper books do indeed have ads inside them.
