The MBTA has a See Something, Say Something app.
MBTA.com > Transit Police

She should look into it the next time to takes the Red Line. The Red Line does have a lot of shady characters.
She should NOT have walked home... the guy could be watching from a corner and know exactly where she lived.
Best bet is to go somewhere public or try and take a photo of the guy.

I'd still report it to someone today to be honest. Not good to have that person still out there doing this to who knows how many people every night.

This has happened to me before, I was being followed home from a bar, so I walked into a convenience store with a cop car idling out front. I was lucky that there happened to be a cop car there, but even without it I would have gone into that store or any other open business.

A good tip for ladies is to keep earbuds in on the T but don't listen to anything. I do this all the time, you can still hear what's going on around you. Weirdos are more likely to target the low-hanging fruit.

It's pathetic that we have devolved to the point where this conversation is even necessary.

We need a society where these degenerates have to fear for their lives!

I think that's why people are so polite in the south - you never know who's carrying! I love it. Speaking of legit self-defense, how ridiculous is it that you can't own a stun gun in this state?!?

I was actually this close to suggesting how the T should permit firearms on board, until I thought about it for a second. On a crowded train, I'm not sure I like the idea of people packing on their hip...

I'm generally against all those restrictions and for the 2nd Amendment, but maybe not in that case.

Stun guns I absolutely agree, I mean this state is such a good place to be a criminal.

I don't think he followed her. She was watching for that. She's pretty meticulous, smart, and fast. I would guess that she took several short cuts to get home including maybe going through another building, and checked behind her and besides her (parallel routes) most of the way.

My impression is that 911 is often too late. Has anyone had experiences with 911 where they were either efficient (a good thing), or on the other hand, too slow or robotic to accomplish anything?

Is the "See Something Say Something" only for terrorism or for reporting perverts as well?
