??? My house in Louisville, granted northwest Louisville but not the western edge, is 3.5 miles from the Boulder city limits. Superior is south of Louisville; it might be 12 miles from some parts of town.

Boulder isn't *that* big that there are specific areas to keep away from.

I'm guessing CoCo10 was calculating the distance from McCaslin & Dillon to far North Boulder.

I checked google maps, and from the intersection of Dillon & McCaslin (where it's both Louisville & Superior) to 4900 Broadway in Boulder is 11 miles - likely it's the longest possible distance to figure from Louisville and/or Superior to Boulder, but not representative of what most of us think of when travelling from Louisville to Boulder.

It's been exceptionally cold - not the norm!

I would like to make a small correction to the above post. It is 3.5 miles from the intersection of MCaslin Blvd and S. Boulder Rd. in Louisville to the Boulder city limits on Table Mesa Dr. and ~ 55th St. It is about 5 miles to Boulder from my house.
