At Staples Center in Los Angeles, a battle of former junior middleweight champions saw "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39KOs) and Sergio "Latin Snake" Mora (22-1-2, 6KOs) battle to a twelve round draw. The scores were 115-113 for Mora, 116-112 for Mosley and 114-114 for the draw.
Both of them came out pawing with the jab and looking for openings. Not much of anything from either in the first. The second round followed the same pattern. The round was ugly with a lot of holding and very little fighting. The third was another ugly round with Mosley chasing Mora around. The fourth had some better work by Mora with punches being landed on the inside while making Mosley miss. There was an accidental clash of heads that opened up a cut above the right eye of Mora.
I saw it on a stream and turned it off by the 3rd round, that's how i knew the fight was going to be a snorefest.
How Mora has any fans is beyond me, the man is just simply too boring to watch.
