Default Need help finding Wedding Reception location please

My soon to be husband and I are planing a wedding for next summer (2011). Really need help finding a nice/bigger place to have the Wedding Reception. Were paying for this ourselves and don't really want to spend over $50 a plate for 200 guest. It would be nice if it was at a hotel so we don't have to worry about driving. Also would like to be able to have the ceremony at the same location.

Any ideas?

So far we check out-
Amherst Marriott - too expensive and rude banquet manager
Holiday Inn Grand Island - to out dated, room too small too.
ramadahotelamherst.com - lower priced & very nice, little on the small side though for Reception area.

Your knowledge and help is greatly appreciated!
Trinity

If the Amherst Marriott was too expensive, I'd think Adam's Mark would be totally out of the question, price-wise.

Kotecki's (I think that is how you spell it) in West Seneca. Also, not sure if they still do events, Rich Rennaissance (I was at a wedding here in the late 90's and it was beautiful and very spacious), although it sounds like you are leaning towards Grand Island? Another suggestion is Lord Chumley's although they may now have a different name, someone can help me out and fill in the new name. Went to a wedding there and it was by far the coolest, most beautiful space. and the food was amazing.

You could also look at Niagara Falls. Many locations there and taking wedding photos at the falls makes for great pics.

We actually looked at Kotecki's over the weekend. We like it but liked CreeksideBanquet.com a little better which we also looked at right after. They both had very similar pricing around $63 a plate for what we're looking for. Creekside was newer with higher ceilings which made it look bigger/nicer. Kotecki's was very similar to Klocs Grove. We liked Klocs Grove a lot but were already there for 3 weddings in the past 2 years.

We're still trying to find time to get into Adams Mark, hopefully this week. Have a feeling its going to be to pricey though.

I looked up Marcy Casino as suggested but they only hold for up to 135 people, we have 200. Thanks for trying to help though.

So far were stuck on Creekside but still would like to look at other suggestions.

my vote is the Pearl Street Brewery. They have the right size facilities and they are close to area hotels. I have been to couple of wedding receptions there and their foord is amazing. I haveheard grea things about their coordinator too
