Extended stay place? Inn? Pet-friendly...Amherst/Williamsville area (Buffalo, Clarence: rent, motels)

I currently live in Buffalo/Lackawanna, and just moved here from Memphis, TN. My current living situation was supposed to be 9-12 months, but it has not worked out. I am still searching for employment, which makes it hard to find someone who will rent a room to me, so now I'm having to consider an Inn or extended stay place in the Amherst/Williamsville areas but not necessarily corporate places. Any suggestions?

Homewood Suits on Millersport, Residence Inn on Maple Rd., Extended Stay America on Inn Keepers Ln.

You might also want to drive along Main St in Clarence and keep an eye out.. Some of the motels apparently offer weekly rates for extended stays. (You'd have to inquire as to their pet policies).

Of course keep checking the Bee newspapers and c.l. for options that might work for you.
