Gave a guy a ticket for walking on a street. The sidewalks aren’t plowed or cleaned off. You gotta be kidding.
According to folks here sidewalks are the responsibility of the homeowners. So these cops are hassling a guy for walking on the street. Majority of the sidewalks are in poor condition and have many trip and fall hazards.
The cops here should do other things here like catching people running red lights.
This is the same group who gave me a ticket when I moved here with a moving van from New Jersey. No signs on the street about parking in a subdivision in the edge of the city.
City is a dump and my family members are moving away one at a time.
The town of lockport is not bad but there are no amenities. You can build a nice house in the middle of nowhere, and pay fat taxes for nothing.
The city taxes are getting totally out of control, and the police are just trying to make money for a struggling city. It's sad really.
New York beer project is always jamming. Nothing but used car lots and new car lots all the way down transit.
