A new study shows that Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse rank in the top five best mid-sized cities for relocating families. Primary Relocation of Memphis is out with its fourth annual spring survey. Syracuse ranks second, Rochester third and Buffalo fifth for mid-size cities. None of them were on the list last year. The rankings are based on factors like cost of living, crime rates and education.
depending on where you live, your taxes might be worth it - i live in a city that has high taxes but excellent public schools - top ranking all the time, if I had to pay lower taxes and put all my kids in private school, it would be a lot more expensive
Everybody calls anybody living in the charlotte metro area that. There are a ton of folks from there. I am trying to leave here after my second stay here.
I couldn't wait anymore for the turnaround there. The taxes and utilites drove us out. I can say I do miss the place sometimes. Alot of great memories.
Cheap houses, but the taxes and utilities will kill ya.
Especially those winter gas bills - Ouch1!!
