Looking to move to Buffalo in Oct. Aside from Buffalo.com, Buffalo Rising, Forgotten Buffalo, Welcome-magazine, and the Buffalo city site, is there any additional Buffalo sites you would recommend?
Looking for living, social, dinning info, things to do, rentals, etc.

try artvoice- they always have good reviews of restaurants and other issues regarding the city and apartments for rent. Also, Buffalo Spree magazine- really just a silly magazine but sometimes they have good local articles at times. Buffalo Rising is a great website- highly recommended!! But any info you like please feel free to ask and I could hopefully help out!! Best of luck in your move.

You might try the Bee newspapers. Look them up online and ask for copies of the sections for waht is going on in the towns you want. Every season they stick in a small section on the "happenings". We got ours a month or so back.

Thanx Worthk! The job hunt is not going well, so my move has been delayed . . . bummer. I found the Buffalo Rising site, as well as most of the other sites listed under the Moving to Buffalo posting. Dang shame too, I really like what I see of Buffalo. Sure, it is going through some tough times, but it is better then Cleveland or Detroit!

EMT-B, Wilderness EMT.
I may have found a job elsewhere, for the short term, but once that is done I may then be able to afford the move to the Buffalo area.
Here is hoping!
Thanx for any leads you can provide!
