Said a native Californian who lives in Santa Barbara.

She said that the east coast doesnt know what "farm to table" means. . .
I was like ... "gurrrl, is u serious?"

and then she started doing yoga in front me on her yoga mat.

I am a bit confused. A native Californian who lives in Santa Barbara . Was she back east on business? Farm to table is all the rage back east among the elites ( and even some of the plebs).

If she can't get a good salad on the east coast she must be eating in all the wrong places.

She was on the east coast (Washington, DC) for business and she kept going on and on about how she can't get a good salad anywhere on the east coast.

Well, if she was talking about a tossed salad in the middle of downward dog, you got the words, but missed the meaning.

Hey I have yet to find a good Mexican restaurant in Washington. I went to visit a buddy at Whidbey island and we hit a few Mexican restaurants. Jesus it was about the worse quesadilla I ever had. Canned shrimp out if the can still juicy with the brine, cheese was just lumped on there not melted, the tortilla. Looked like a freaking frisbee and about as tough, and the onions were pretty much raw. And my buddy. Tells me its the best Mexican joint in town. I still can't believe I left a tip for the place. Just flat out freaking awful.

The next joint was a diner. I literally got up and got my own coffee. The waitress was too busy smoking with the bus boy out back.

Next up...A transplanted New Yorker today complained for the first time ever that they can't get a good bagel or pizza anywhere on the West Coast. "It's the water." News at 11.

A salad-eating yoga ***** from Santa Barbara. How boring.
