There is something about it.. the atmosphere or the weather, I'm not sure but something that just makes that place perfect. I love it. I've been all over San Diego, LA, SF, Tahoe, Death Valley etc. I just love it. I have no idea what it is but when I'm not there I miss it so much. I don't understand what it is. Anybody else have a similar experience? Anyone know what it is? Its not like its the perfect state but It just, I'm not sure. Its like a spell someone put on me.

I've always liked California too. North, south, all of it. I'm like you, I'm not sure what it is that I like, but I'm happy here.

Default I love California it's addicting, we have it all :-D

So the phrase sticks: You Can Take the Girl Out of California.........but you can't take the California out of the girl.

I can vouch for that!

Yep, I fully agree Let me expand on that a bit... You can take the girl out of the USA.......but you can't take the USA out of the girl.

I love it and miss it too. I hope to move back soon (once our home sells). I'm not originally from California but I feel like a native Californian.

You know that saying?..."You don't know what you got till it's gone". Well that's how I feel about CA.

I also love California. We retired here 10 years ago, and we have road tripped to most everywhere in the state as well as to all the states and NP's from here to Colorado.

The only thing I miss about New England is the sea food...sucks out here, but living in south Orange County suits us just fine.

If anyone is interested, all our pics are here...check 'em out. You'll also want to live here. http://community.webshots.com/user/mountainmaster2003

I would probably feel like that too but I have never lived there, someday I hope to.
