My bf and i just moved to central ca from so cal for work last year. we both work in atascadero and live in atascadero but my dream has always been to live in a beach area! so when we first moved to the area i was hopeful to find a place near the beach maybe pismo, grover, avila, but had no luck.
I ran into a place that is pet friendly (very hard to find in beach areas) in grover beach and i applied today! our current place is so close to both of our jobs, am i crazy for wanting to move us near 30 miles away just to be in the beach area???
atascadero to me is very ughhh boring...im in my 20s im still young and i crave a different vibe! on our days off all we do is go to the more populated lively areas such as the beach cities around i just love them! who thinks it is worth the drive? anyone with me? i dont want to regret it since the drive will be a pain. also the place i applied is a house, we currently live in an apartment, our apartment is much nicer but rent would be a bit cheaper in grover....i dont mind a crappy house if im at the beach
