Do tell ( and I'm sure you will! )

This reminds me. With all the talk these days of U3 and U6, no one listens to U2 anymore, huh.

The 6 counties with the lowest unemployment rates (all 5% or lower, even lower than Texas!) are:

Marin
San Mateo
San Francisco
Napa
Santa Barbara/Sonoma (tie)

This raises the question: why are some counties doing so well, while others aren't? Even though the entire state is languishing under the communist business-hating jackbooted dictatorship of the Democratic Party?
Here is California employment

If you work in tech or health care you are doing absolutely great. If you work in just about anything else you are probably under employed or out of work or "early retired" which means no one will hire you so you just stopped looking for a job. But it is ok, tech doing well will help everyone in the state, oh wait, it won't.

Ah, yes, the left wing commies ban unemployable people to Modoc County. I forgot.

And I find it hard to believe that Santa Clara County isn't on that list.

And, are any states evenly employed from top to bottom and side to side? Aren't there job centers? In any state?

And why do you all care? Move already. And if you've already moved, go read your own newspaper. Leave us alone.
We ARE moving. I live in one of the most beautiful areas of this state but a turd is still a turd.

So the claim that the Democrats have killed the California economy is manifestly false, if part of it (and not a small part) is doing so well.

And by the way, tech doing well DOES help everyone in the state. Tech companies pay taxes (maybe not as much as they should, but that's another discussion). So do their employees. So do the businesses where those employees shop. And the business that supply those businesses. And so on.

Should rephrase it, "those who work in tech that make very lucrative salaries are doing absolutely great' keep in mind though not all in tech are making very lucrative salaries or work in software. Many companies in SV lose out on great candidates from other areas, East Coast and beyond due to the fact they cannot compensate all a typical software engineer's salary.

They have killed or damaged many other fields; aero space, military, Hollywood, pornography, manufacturing, all small business, etc. But that's ok, tech is doing well so everything is ok.
