Alas! I left and my native's, inborn passive aggressiveness stayed in CA. I really miss it. What to do, what to do!

I'm typically never one to generalize, especially when it comes to a state that's as highly populated and diverse as California is. However, I do think that in general, where I live in the Bay Area, many people are passive-aggressive. It is a behavior trait that I do see to be quite prevalent around here.

I especially notice it when I'm driving. Never have I seen an area where so many drivers drive slowly in the fast lane on the freeway and refuse to move over even when there's a long line of cars behind them. I also can't count how many times I've been cut off by somebody and when I give them the one finger salute and honk, they pretend they don't even notice or they'll just give a friendly wave and a smile.

No, you're confusing California with Portland and Seattle.

Everyday I have to log on to see how I am supposed to behave. Some days I am supposed to be a stuck-up snob. Some days a materialistic 'plastic' phony. Some days a drug induced liberal goon. Today, a passive-aggressive. I tell ya, it is hard without a playbook. Could someone please send me a schedule so I can plan ahead?

only old women and old folks in general drive in the fast lane or car pool lane slower than the flow of traffic. include the tourists too, which is understandable

L. Ron Hubbard told me so.

Every time I hear his name I imagine him as Superman's drunk uncle blithering about how he got got the short stick because they misspelled his name on his galactic birth certificate.

Sorry, what were we talking about?
