Food's too starchy, except for the seafood.

You'd be in heaven, moored in the Gulf of California, there, 'Mutt! Dolphins! Whale-watching! Non-stop beaches! They have huge nature preserves and biosphere preserves along the Gulf. A retiree's paradise.

Your sense of adventure took you to the Ozarks. I went through there once. I'll definitely head off to Baja instead. To each his own.

They just want silicon valley and Hollywood, two things they have failed to achieve in any economic fashion. They talk up Canada as being better than the US when they have no innovation themselves.

Oh please. Ever heard of ice hockey? Moose turd pie?

By the way, Vancouver B.C. is now killing Hollywood as a hot center for the film industry.

because of tax credits, they have no major recognition, no major studios based their, no innovation in VR, drones, robotics at any level compared to Texas, Massachusetts, or California. The world knows about the golden gate bridge and the Hollywood sign and Canadians hate it. They always root for a brain drain from the US because that's what is happening to them but when someone from Maryland or a conservative state wants to come they act all elitist saying your not welcome. They don't have to deal with 13 million illegal aliens in their country yet preach to us to stop being racist. The talk about Canada like it's amazing while their aerospace industry, innovation in clean energy, or any such industry is insignificant to the US. If they were humble about it fine but they're not, they talk about how great they are and want to steal all the good stuff from us while at the same time saying we're not liberal or sophisticated enough for them

If this were the case, what would be the point of advocating for Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and even Alaska and Hawaii?

I think all the people that want to flee the US for Canada should really think twice, especially older people; they'd be going somewhere, where they have to wait 6-12 months, maybe more, for surgery, unless it's an emergency. And who knows what the wait time is for more ordinary services, like CT scans, heart/cardio scans, and so forth. I think people heading toward Medicare age would be better off in the US.
