Pretty much. I actually didn’t mind Brown, but I strongly dislike Newsom. Newsom is a product of the exact same type of arrogance that brought us Hillary/Trump (and unfortunately, one of those had to win.) For example, he didn’t even bother making a statement in the CA voter guides for either the primaries or general election. His section was completely blank. That said...Cox didn’t put up anything close to a fight.

Well, unfortunately now you get to live the next 2-4 years under what you voted for. Higher taxes, more illegals, and possibly the dissolution of Prop 13.

One thing I approve from Newsom is that he decided to stop building the fast train. This is the dumb thing from Brown’s Governorship.

I'm sure California tax payers are happy that billions were spent to tear up prime agricultural land between Bakersfield and Madera.

Sure it was worth all the costs (to contractors and sub-contractors who can now finance Harvard educations for their children).

What would California be without it’s cushy tax payer funded packages to developers and special interests?

Interesting how easy it was to do this for a train to nowhere but everyone thinks we can't do it to keep illegal aliens out from the South?

From article today

—-
Governor Gavin Newsom wants to build 3.5 million homes across California over the next seven years. But there’s one glaring problem: the state doesn’t have enough land zoned for it.
UCLA said the state would have to double or triple the land zoned for housing to meet the goal. That means Newsom will have to push local governments to create more buildable land by upzoning residential parcels and rezoning non-residential parcels. He said last month he plans to withhold state tax dollars if they don’t meet housing goals.

One party rule needs a constant stream of new voters.
