Hardly qualifies as wealthy. Young and professional, I think it'd be a choice between NYC and San Francisco. I see SF as offering more professional-line jobs than NYC which is in the dumps right now imo

If you're used to the east coast.. and it sounds like you are.. stay in NY.. California/LA would culture shock you.. and there is are a million good looking men out here.. they fall off trees..and have surfboards at 7,,, so your competition for Barbie would be stiff
L.A. is strongly rooted in the me concept and vanity... if thats what you are looking for in life.. come on down.. be another pretty face
New York is more cosmo than L.A. Less than good looking people can get by more easily because they get to cover up with massive clothes more often

I say you buy yourself a powder blue porsche (convertible, so the masses can see you) and then get yourself some fancy digs in Malibu with lots of mirrors.

It's always a good giggle listen to people try to tell others about L.A. when they don't live here

Are you currently working? Do you have a degree in the hospitality industry? I am not sure how one becomes wealthy at 25 but anyhow I think you need to look for a place that will give you the best opportunity and quality of life. If you move to Ca would you miss your friends that would be much closer by if you moved to NY? I used to live in NJ and it was about an hour half to NY. I also just moved back from Ca. I agree with the other poster they are much different. I understand wanting to move to an area where there are people of similar interests and age groups but at the same time this is not like going on a vacation. Unless you are retired or very rich and rich you need to also focus on being able to find a job,pay your bills, build a quality life etc. Also rich in Philli is very different then rich in Ny or Ca. I am not even sure why the emphasis on looks here. Do you pick your friends by the way they look? It turns my stomach when people focus so much on appearance and/or money. Good luck in your choice but may be make this big decision of your life one based on good reasons.
