I was hoping someone might know about the Secret Shoppers jobs that I see advertised everywhere...

Could you tell how legit these are and if the pay is actually anything to keep or will it just pay for the gas to get to the next secret shopping location?

I don't know a whole lot about it but I have a neighbor who was doing it for a while and she made it sound like it was more trouble than it was worth....also the work is sporatic. But the thing I remember the most about the conversation is that the store she did most of her secret shopping in has some of the worst customer service! So go figure.

Every once in a while if I feel I am getting bad service or a store is messy or something I like to 'let it slip' somehow that I am a 'secret shopper'. It can get some of those rude employees nervous.

It's many times mroe hassle than it's worth unless you can book several shops close together in the same time frame. The pay for each is very low and to get the higher paying ones you have to be a veteran of sorts.
Hope this helps

The ones you see advertised on the net are just fishing for email addresses. We never had any spam untill my wife applied for one of the secret shopper.

Just try and apply with a hotmail address.
