I am fed up with paying so much for TV. I also don't like the hidden fees on the so called deals that are being advertised. I'm wondering if it's possible to get any TV stations with an Antenna in Pleasanton CA. I see a lot of old ones still up on houses but don' t know if people actually use them or if they are just leftovers from the 70s 80s. Thanks for Any input!

On the peninsula (and I live in the flatlands, not in the hills), I get over a dozen stations with a roof top antenna (too many in Spanish, Korean and Chinese
). Digital reception is good most of the time although sometimes some stations fade out for a while. I'm surprised I can get a station in Cotati (KRCB/22) real well - that's about 75 miles away! For me, cable isn't worth it. I had cable for a while and the service was lousy and there wasn't really all that much to watch.

I have an antenna on my roof in San Jose, and I can get stations from as far away as Vallejo.. the only stations I can't get are in Santa Rosa and Salinas.

). Digital reception is good most of the time although sometimes some stations fade out for a while. I'm surprised I can get a station in Cotati (KRCB/22) real well - that's about 75 miles away! For me, cable isn't worth it. I had cable for a while and the service was lousy and there wasn't really all that much to watch.
