I currently live in Ohio and I want to transfer to SFSU or USC. But I know I can't pay out of state tuition so I was going to move there next may, wait a year then transfer to a college, thereby avoiding the out of state fees. Any suggestions? I want to move to Santa Cruz because I'm from a small town and hate that there is nothing to do. But there is sooo much I want to know, need to know in order to move. I'm an STNa, I'm not cure if you know what that is but if you do, how much do they usually make in SC? Are there any hospitals or nursing homes? Also I'm a gay guy and want something gay friendily. I need a nice cheap place but safe enough to live alone.

I would like somewhere that has much to do, I've never been to a beach and I would love to go and live by one but I know it gets expensive. Everyone says expenses are very very high in SC? But never any good examples like what min wage is. And when I do move there the only think I'll be paying is car insurance, gas and rent. And wouldn't mind working two jobs. I want to be smart about this move any info would really help. I'm 20 and I know that's young but its a good time to move as any. I'm saving up $8000 and I'm hoping that will be enough for 2 months rent and groceries. Just so I can have time to find a job. Please someone help me, this is a dream come true.
