Is Orange county as wealthy as we make it seem, or is it a faux wealthy county, or is it a county where wealth is concentrated in a few areas. Lets compare it to another perceived "rich" county on the east side. The findings are in the links:

County-Metro Side-by-Side: StatsAmerica

Per capita personal in montgomery is 72k, orange is 54k. People with bachelors in montgomery is 58%, orange is 37%, poverty rate in montgomery is 6%, orange is 13%. Having lived in both counties this seems about right.

Orange County is where people bring their money. Montgomery County is just a place with high wage earners toil to make their money in some way connected to Federal tax dollars. I am not sure if that is too hard for you to grasp. We all know you hate OC since it is not identical in demographics to PG County where all is perfect in your mind.

And by the way, per capita income in OC is $75,422. Source.

Why would you compare entire counties? Everyone knows OC goes from super rich to super poor. Fact is, Newport Coast and Yorba Linda are two of the richest cities in the US. You have to go into the 40s to find a city in Maryland.
