In the earliest part of the summer of 2009, the weather was cool from the start but then it got warmer in late July. Now its winter, there are times that its not even freezy cold. In some winder days, the temperature is like Fall.

Does anyone else think this year had a craziest weather?

Seems pretty normal to me. Get some random heat April-May, cool through June gloom most of the day until it breaks in July, humid heat in August, 2-4 dry santa ana type heatwaves from September to Thanksgiving, 2-4 very dry cold spells from late October to Christmas.. All around what I expect in the year. The only real unexpected thing has been the amount of rain we've received in the last half of this year, as it's usually bone dry until February or so.

Outrageous! It, like got into the 90s in August, and dropped into the 40s in December, and it rained for two days straight!

Sounds like typical SoCal weather....

California does not get actual weather.

Southern California typically doesn't warm up until July; June isn't normally hot. Also, it doesn't cool off too rapidly in September.

Compare Los Angeles and Sacramento high temperatures. Notice the lag in Los Angeles high temperature around July compared to the more "bell curve" of inland Sacramento. Junes in Los Angeles are often cloudy (June gloom, May gray).
