My guess is that he'll win two more elections -- majority governments both, and by the end will have crafted a Canada that will have corrected the confusion and misguided political and social experiments of the 60s and 70s and 80s. Although he has many shrill detractors now, I believe with time history will judge Stephen Harper favourably and Canada will be a better place for all that he has accomplished. I say this never having voted CPC and likely never will.

Can you be more specific, what misguided political and social experiments are you talking about?
I didnt notice Canada being a communist country back in the 60s,70s and 80s
Ken maybe you could give some examples of these misguided political and social experiments.
As for Harpers future its speculation and opinion at this point,IMO the next federal election will see the end of the Harper dynasty.

Not quite sure why people need "some examples"... what happened during that era is fairly common knowledge.
Not really... Not all of us are in our 60's either Ken.. You really should give more specifics and in particular what Harper is doing to change these 'bad' developments.
Its a social program, and doesnt equate to Canada being a communist or socialist country.
And Ken we need some examples because some of us probably have no idea what you're on about. Lot of things happened in the era you are referring to, what do you consider "misguided political and social experiments"? and how was Harper instrumental in changing these experiments?
