I'm the one poll wonder.

I selected B.C. simply because the query originated from a Swiss. They love mountains and would probably feel more at home able to look out the window at snow capped peaks.

So subjective, I chose BC of course, since for me, what I've seen of Canada so far, it's fits me perfectly.

I have friends who love living in Nova Scotia ( I have yet to go ) and I can see that as being quite appealing as well, although I'd miss the mountains...and Vancouver. They are from Vancouver and have no regrets...except last winter LOL.

I have a friend from Vancouver and she absolutely hates it, especially because of the 4 months of rain.

What do you like? Canada is too big and the provinces too diverse to answer the question without knowing what you find important. What's the 'best' Swiss Canton? I've lived in Quebec and in British Columbia, I like them both for very different reasons, I could not say one is objectively better than the other. Newfoundland is great for some, they like the unique culture, the sea, the friendly people. Others like Ontario because it has the most people, the most diverse economy, the biggest city, the seat of the federal government, and feels most like it's at the 'centre' of the country. Others like Alberta because of the high per-capita incomes, the wide open spaces, and the feeling that you're helping to shape something brand new. For others, it's the picturesque, rural charm of Price Edward Island that makes for a perfect home. Whatever floats your boat!
