I find it the same. When I'm in the US, I buy organic chicken etc, since their regular chicken ( I'm sure it varies across the US, but I'm speaking mainly about Washington State and Southern California ) I find bland.
I thought it was just me, but a close friend form SoCal says the same. That our regular chicken has more flavour. Even the texture can be different.
As for dairy, well I think most know how I feel about that. No BGH to worry about.
The same can be said of bread. No bromate in Canadian bread. From a quick Google.
