In the last few months I've been getting some weird data burps on my Canadian bank site. Payments are taking two or three business days or more, and the listings of payee are showing huge amounts that were addressed two weeks ago.

i.e. I pay my two Canadian credit cards online. Same account and same bank for decades. Is anyone else having bank digital nightmare. I just about had a heart attack when my two CC were showed as almost fully charged up, but then saw on the payee list on the same account the amounts paid out three times this month, while I haven't used the cards at all. Balance should have showed near zero on both cards.

Whew!!

I haven’t had any problems. My bank account is with TD.

I don’t think it is a good idea to have both credit cards with the same bank. I also split how I use my credit cards. One card I use for online purchases only. The other card I use for in-person purchases only.

That's exactly the same thing I do. I have one card that I put a lower limit on to on-line purchase tooling for my shop and my other card is used for travel and other stuff I purchase in person.

I have a B of A card that only gets used when we're in the U.S.

On-line purchasing still gives me goosebumps.

To date, no aberrant behaviour on any of them.

On line purchasing is not what I'm talking about. I pay my cards OFF through my bank, and the balances shown were the same, and very high. It didn't add up at all.

My two Canadian cc's are not with the same bank I've had.....for decades.
I'm asking if their has been aberrant data behavior on any other people's use involving Canadian banks. so far, I guess not!!

Nothing with the 2 banks and one credit union that I deal with. CIBC did have an issue a few days ago with the app and online banking.

Vancity Credit Union's online banking is down. Not sure if it's related to what happened at CIBC, but they are saying it's not a cyber attack. Not so sure..

I've made two payments on my Roval cc through TD and am waiting since the 4th. of this month for the first payment to post. It's going to be interesting if they both post the same day.
