The Mint at least has a number of contracts with foreign countries to produce their coinage. I assume that that will keep them going for a while even as the need for coins at home continues to drop.

Wow! I never would have thought there were that many countries who commission the services of Canada's RCM. But it makes sense when you think about the outstanding artistry and quality of the coins that Canadian crafters produce from the RCM. Who wouldn't want the best crafters for creating their commemorative coins?
