Bison burgers or bison meat in Charlotte? (Greensboro: paid, grocery stores)

I used to find bison burgers on menus up in Greensboro, and it was also available at a few grocery stores... haven't seen it around Charlotte though. Has anyone else?

It has more protein than chicken, less calories, fat and cholesterol than both beef and chicken.

I can confirm this. My husband cooked up bison burgers earlier this week from Trader Joe's.

Some of the Harris Teeters carry frozen ground bison. It can usually be found in a standing freezer somewhere near the meat dept.

In waxhaw the butcher on 16 carries it, he's called What's Your Beef Butcher.

Earth Fare has it and they make burgers and other things too. They can also custom make suff too.

City Tavern have bison burgers on their menu - $9 - when I got mine it was as dry as a roofer's glove.
