curious, its hard to understand precisely what they do to put you out when youre lying on the table in the OR
i always forget what they do. is it the IV line they put in you in the pre-op room that does it or something else? or did they put a mask on me and i wasn't aware?
anyhow i certainly like how they let you walk into the OR instead of being wheeled in. it normalizes everything and takes away the stigma of being a patient
It is an IV. Once you're out, they intubate and manage airway.
