I would like to add something to this:
TAKE VITAMIN D. Low D is a risk factor.
Dense breast tissue is a risk factor. They told me I had dense breast tissue but never told me THAT was a risk factor.

To the person who messaged and asked me describe the pain:
It was a throbbing pain, not constant and not sharp. Kind of make sense. There was a tumor growing and as it got bigger, I felt it more. The pain was more noticeable at night and maybe that's because I was just lying still and more aware of it.
Oddly, when I was around 30, I felt pain there and had a mammogram. They might have done an ultrasound, too. I do not recall. I was told it wasn't possible that my diagnosis at 52 was related but I don't believe it. It was too coincidental that I pain in the same location. It was a grade 2, so not the fastest growing cancer but not the slowest.
Feel free to ask any more questions. Happy to help anyone in any way I can.
